Security and Network Architect (Brussel)

Je functie: We are looking for an Infra Designer (with a strong reference to Infrastructure, Security and Network Architecture).

MAIN TASKS :

In the context of establishing the outlines of the ICT architecture within the infrastructure department of bpost, according to bpost strategy, the successful candidate is:

1. Responsible for creating, detailing, documenting and supporting the implementation of infrastructural designs (Detailed Infrastructure Design) for ICT and/or business projects, by using one or more existing building blocks, reference architectures and enhancements.
a.Follow the standard bpost ICT design methodology
b.Take input from architecture deliverables
c.Provide input for alternative solutions
d.Interact with and incorporate/provide architectural input from/to Infrastructure, Security and Data architects.
e.Provide input for calculating the TCO of each alternative solution.
f.Document all details concerning design particularities and chosen configurations needed for efficient implementations.
g.Deliver a Detailed Infrastructure Design Schema (DIDS), including (non-) functional network flows between all infrastructure components, and ensure that all necessary infrastructure components are requested, according the design.
h.Participate in RFP procedures

2. He is a key player in liaising and assisting teams to implement designs and apply the required changes on network and systems resources. A particular attention is required to induce as less as possible disruption in in-time design delivery and to organize and plan design workload according to lean principles.
Je profiel: TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Must have's :

-Able to analyze and document applications flows into an infrastructure architecture, be it cloud-/web-based or legacy
-Possesses a strong command of architecture and troubleshooting methodologies in conjunction with a security-minded approach
-Able to interact with business people, project managers, application leads and technical engineers based on this infrastructure architecture
-Able to analyze and document infrastructure components into an infrastructure architecture (high level design + detailed technical design) with specific attention for cloud-/web based or legacy solutions.
-Able to interact, and give support to IT people, operational teams and subject matter specialists based on this infrastructure architecture (for example firewall, proxy)
-Able to translate application architectures into infrastructure architectures and generate detailed technical designs, based upon existing documentation and feedback from the people involved in a particular project
-Able to interact with other designers from the ICT Infra Planning Center and follow and understand the processes of the project delivery model which is applicable in bpost
-Excellent understanding of network protocols and technology stacks (systems and applications) is necessary
-Extensive & experienced hands - on track record is an asset in dealing with undocumented applications
-Configuration and utilization of network tools specialized in packet capture tools, performance management, troubleshooting and forensics analysis.
-Ability to analyze network traces in order to understand components dialog and relationships
-Technical Architect expertise knowledge on:

o Operating Systems Windows technology
o Operating Systems (Unix (Solaris) & Linux technology (RedHat family)
o OS Clustering frameworks
o Hypervisors (VMware - HyperV)
o Server Hardware

Nice to have's :

-Knowledge of ITIL, CobIT and ISO standards
-IAM expertise desirable, including public key infrastructure, Identity & Web access management and Federation standards.
-Large environment and/or datacenter migration experience
-Certifications: CISSP, CISM, ISO27001
