Security Analyst

Our client is a leading healthcare company seeking a SECURITY ANALYST for an excellent contract opportunity. This candidate provides user security administration support for application systems, operating systems, network operating systems, and other security devices. Performs database queries, processes data, and creates reports.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Works with Human Resources or other authorized entities to assist/perform investigations.
- Provides support/performs security administration processes, including implementing access controls, supporting security software, and troubleshooting access issues.
- Prepares routine and special reports relating to security administration and access control.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum of one year support experience with two or more core network operating systems, applications, or security software such as Active Directory, Unix, ACF2, Oracle, LDAP, Lotus Notes Database query and reporting experience
- Basic knowledge of information security practices, principles and risks
- Demonstrated communication skills
- Organization skills and ability to prioritize work with little supervision
- Ability to deal with uncertainty, work in unstructured situations and deal with frequent, unexpected interruptions
- Ability to listen until significant understanding is obtained
- Ability to make decisions in uncertain situations
- Displays patience

This contract position is expected to be 12 months in duration.
