Secondary English Specialist

Capita Education are seeking to appoint an English Specialist to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local Secondary school in Burton-On-Trent, Staffordshire.

This 11-18 Catholic secondary school has sports specialist status and is always improving the school each academic year. With the school having a very high standard to follow, after achieving 'outstanding' in their last Ofsted report, they always look always look to provide stimulating, challenging and high quality teaching across all the subjects. The school is looking forward to welcoming a part time English Specialist into the school and wish them every success.

The successful English Specialist with need to be forward-thinking in writing engaging lessons that will meet the needs of children with a variety of ability. Having a supportive nature is also important, as the English Department are an extremely supportive team and also committed to raising student achievement, and of course the profile of the English Department.

To be considered for the position of an English Specialist you must:

*Have experience teaching secondary English up to KS5 Level.
*Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT)
*Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Secondary Teachers
*Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
