Seasoned Enterprise Architect

We have an exciting opportunity in one of the most beautiful capitals of Europe, Brussels, for a Seasoned Enterprise Architect with 21 YEARS OF IT EXPERIENCE (INCLUDING STUDIES) AND 12 YEARS IN THIS SPECIFIC FUNCTION.

We are looking for candidates with expertise in:

- Enterprise Architecture
- Good knowledge of business processes analysis;
- Knowledge of software maturity models;
- Strong capacity in writing and presenting studies;
- Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings (English and French);
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team, in an international/multicultural environment;
- Good experience in enterprise architecture models and tools;
- Experience in business processes modelling
- Proven experience with quality procedures
- Strong experience in consulting.

The specific following experience would be an asset:

- Implementation of Webservices and JMS with XML messages in Java
- Web LogicServer configuration
- Interoperability between (1) Oracle service Bus (2) Oracle Business Process Management (3) SAP using JMS and Webservices technologies
- ETL deployment mixing Oracle, SAP and Business Object technologies.

NATURE OF TASKS

OPERATIONS

- Monitoring of the systems and proactive identification of problems
- Reporting on security; intrusion alerts, administrator level activities
- Installation, configuration and deployment of the systems.
- Proactive contacts with the developers
- Corporate Data flow analysis

ARCHITECTURE PROJECT

- Recommendations, policies (models, organisation, procedures, protocols, security, deployment, technologies to use)
- Architectural vision and elaboration
- Architecture maturity assessment
- Evaluation, setting up and follow up of the tools and techniques used for the new architecture (Oracle OSB, BPMS, BRMS)
- Produce technical specifications for the infrastructure
- Analysis,testing, produce technical documentation
- Analysis of organisational structures and of enterprise business processes

TECHNICAL ARCHITECTURE ACTIVITIES

- Definition of architectures, documentation of different architecture models, advices and recommendations on architectural aspects;
- Documentation of the interfaces, recommendations regarding standardization and refactoring of the interfaces
- Development and enhancement of architectutre

The position can be offered as a freelance contract. Start date: Dec., 15, 2014.
