SDET III needed for a CONTRACT opportunity for Yoh's client located in Redmond, WA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- C#
- Testing and Test Development
- Hardware Testing

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Testing the software on the manufacturing equipment.
- Writing and submitting test plans.
- Doing analysis on test results, publishing reports and manual testing.
- Verifying triggers, stored procedures, referential integrity, hardware product or system specifications.
- Interpreting and modifying code as required including batch files, make files, Perl scripts, queries, stored procedures and/or triggers
- Some travel time possible, but to a minimum (ex. one 2 week trip overseas.)

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Computer Science or Electrical Engineering backgrounds are both acceptable.
- Five (5) plus years of experience as a tester.
- Well versed in C#.
- Object-oriented programming, software debugging and problem solving.
- Comfortable with ambiguity as role will require setting up new test programs.
- Able to develop test strategies, not only extending current plans but new ones from the ground up.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Electro-mechanical experience, physical science background
- Experience with optics or audio & electronics
