SCS Scada Electrical Engineer

A Global Renewable Energy client is looking for an Electrical Engineer to work in the SCADA control department for their offshore windfarm project. They are looking for an Electrical Engineer who can start ASAP on a 12 months contract. This is a full time role 5 working days per week.

Job Description:

Manage I/O lists
QA electrical drawing
Manage communication notes
Supervise design of HMI layouts
Manage signal functionality such as double commands or other special clarification as required
Collect relevant signal input from other areas such as LV utilities and HV components FAT, SAT & SIT test of system

Qualifications:

Electrical Engineer with specialisation in Substation Control system
Knowledge about GOOSE, IEC 61850, IEC-60870-5-104 protocols
Knowledge about Alstom SCADA equipment
Some knowledge about protection systems is an advantage

Special Provisions:

The Consultant must bring his/her own mobile telephone.
Onshore works: The client will provide office facilities available to the Consultant including office space and a PC
