PRODUCT MANAGER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity for Yoh's client located in Boston, MA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

The SCRUM Master is responsible for motivating and guiding cross functional teams toward the realization and implementation of the maximum benefits of Agile/Scrum frameworks. The applicant must have experience assessing scrum maturity and coaching performance to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization. An effective SCRUM Master will facilitate streams of work, remove impediments, and assist with communication, particularly improving transparency and radiating information. The ideal candidate is a certified SCRUM Master with at least two years of experience leading software development teams through the application of SCRUM principles, practices, and theory. Ultimately, the SCRUM Master will coach the implementation SCRUM in a post Waterfall environment with limited and fixed production release windows.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Coach the team in an organization where scrum is not yet fully adopted
- Help empower teams to self-organize
- Facilitate scrum meetings (sprint planning, retrospectives, daily stand-ups, etc.)
- Guide the Product Owner in the grooming and maintenance of the product backlog
- Teach the team to create clear and concise epics/stories
- Protect team from over-commitment
- Guard the team from interruptions during the sprint
- Remove obstacles for the team or to direct obstacles to appropriate owners for quick resolution
- Facilitate discussion to resolve conflict
- Conduct retrospectives and sprint reviews
- Enact change and continuous improvement to increase the productivity of the team and quality of deliverables
- Champion the adoption of automation

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant education and experience
- Scrum Master Certification required
- Certified Scrum Master
- Three (3) plus years project management experience
- Two (2) plus years of Scrum Master experience
- Thorough understanding of Agile development methodologies, values, procedures
- Ability to coach the team to reach their highest potential
- Strong motivator and team facilitator
- Ability to understand technical issues
- Collaborative approach to decision making
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse personality types
- Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision and with other department colleagues
- Self-motivated, creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems
- Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities
