Scrum Business Analyst

SCRUM business analyst with extensive product knowledge

A Leading Investment Management Firm is looking to recruit an interim Scrum business analyst. In the last year my Client has developed a new Point of Sale system for their sales force to use to aid their Investment and Pension business. They are now looking at strengthening this product by further enhancements to the investment and Pension area and by introducing Mortgage and Protection products. This is a fast paced and dynamic environment and would suit a candidate that thrives on working under pressure.

Role Requirements:

- Work with the Business Programme BA's to translate business requirements into user stories to populate the Product Backlog and estimate the story size
- Work with Product Owners, Scrum Master and the Test Manager to prioritise user stories into development sprints
- Integrate with the Scrum Team focusing on the relationship between the business and technical roles, guiding the evolution of the solution.
- Ensure that all business needs are in a format which enables the scrum team to generate the solution effectively
- On a day-to-day basis, ensure accurate and decisive direction is provided to the Scrum Team; Scrum Master; Testing Team; Product Owner; Programme Manager; SME's; & the Business as required.

Skills and experience

- Have strong core business analysis skills

- Be a good team player and be adaptable
- Have good communication skills
- Have knowledge of financial products

It would be very useful if applicants have:

- Previous experience of working in a agile environment including SCRUMs
- Knowledge of distributed networks
