SCM Developer/Clearcase Developer/Perl Developer

Our leading international Semiconductor partner is looking for System Content Developer using ClearCase. You will be Defining and implementing solutions, Create bridging tooling scripts, deploy Modular way of working and Building and configuring a Source Repository.

Responsibilities:
Developing the modular SCM system using Perl and Shell Scripting
Develop independent build system
Deploy solution to development community

Required Skills:
Excellent Perl and Shell Scripting knowledge
GIT repository management solutions (eg GitHub/GitLab, Atlassian Stash)
Experience in working in Linux/Solaris environments
ClearCase (esp. command line ClearCase)
Some knowledge of Build and Dependency Management tools (eg Gradle, Maven)
Nice to have: Experience with ClearCase migrations to other SCM systems, preferable GIT
Nice to have: Experience with Artifact Management solutions (eg Artifactory, Nexus)
Java development and C is a plus

Deliverables:
Building a modular SCM system. Main tasks are:
Defining and implementing a solution for building source code in a separate environment build on GIT.
Create bridging tooling in Perl and/or Shell Scripting between Clearcase and GIT.
Deployment of new Modular way of working ('Break-Out Archive') towards development community.
Building and configuring a Source Repository environment to manage the GIT repositories.
