SCIENTIST II needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in EAST HANOVER, NJ.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Flow Cytometry
- DNA/RNA Isolation
- Cytokine analysis

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Assistant to laboratory personnel in a non-GLP Immunotoxicology laboratory environment. All work conducted requires close attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality as with all laboratory science best practices.
- Must have clearly demonstrated experience in cytokine quantitation in samples (cell culture or ex vivo) and in using Flow Cytometry procedures.
- With supervisory guidance, performs specific duties for non-clinical safety studies focused on cytokine measurements and immunophenotyping using flow cytometric analysis according to appropriate directions provided.
- Performs study sample data generation, learns and applies PRISTIMA data capture and analysis.
- Not responsible for animal handling.
- Adheres to all applicable safety procedures and best practices required including sterile techniques for cell preparation and analysis as applicable.
- In performing procedures, displays sound scientific judgment and good laboratory technique.
- Keeps good study related and equipment maintenance records.
- Capable of learning new eLN procedures for record keeping.
- Keeps data well organized.
- Makes clear precise data entries. Reports results accurately.
- Adheres to schedules and cooperates effectively with other team members.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- MS/BS with five (5) years laboratory experience in desired area of research
- Expertise in Flow Cytometry. Panel development to analysis and report summary
- Cytokine analysis (multiple methods ELISA, MSD, Luminex preferred)
- Experience and skilled in cell culture and sterile techniques
- DNA/RNA Isolation skills and quantitative PCR
