Scientist for Formulation Development and Supply

For our Client in BASEL, we are looking for a SCIENTIST FOR FORMULATION DEVELOPMENT AND SUPPLY, for an 8 MONTHS contract.

Duration: 02/05/2018 to 31/12/2018 (8 months)

Location: Basel

Workload: 100%

Responsibilities:

- Independent planning, execution and interpretation of experiments and/or experimental results in the field of technical compound profiling.
- Analytical investigations such as physicochemical characterization and quantification as well as preparative activities, eg formulation development and supply
- Operate independently (after initial training), perform trouble-shooting and maintenance of instruments and lab infrastructure.

Candidate profile:

Work experience/Technical skills:

- Broad knowledge on use of relevant laboratory tools and procedures (relevant analytical tools include HPLC, DSC, PXRD, Raman and light microscopy).
- Proven track record in at least one of these areas.
- Work experience in the field or related disciplines (eg food sciences, chemistry).
- Knowledge on stability measurements is a plus.

Education:

- BSc/MSc in Analytical Chemistry, or related disciplines, are of benefit.

Languages requirements:

- Fluency in English.
