SCIENTIST - ANALYTICAL DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIES/LEIDEN, NETHERLANDS/12 MONTHS CONTRACT/35 TO 60 EUR (PER HOUR)

The Analytical Development' department is part of the Process Development group and is responsible for developing methods that are required for analysis of virus and antibody products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up microbiological strategies for developmental vaccines produced on our PER.C6 cells. Responsible for conducting tests at Contract Research labs using established methodology.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Plans and conducts experiments and analyzes and interprets the results. Keeps accurate records of work undertaken. Reviews reports for accuracy and completeness. Provides documentation to help supervisor with the preparation of technical reports, manuscripts, and other documents that record data or results. Advances the microbial control strategy and presents in correct internal forums.

Skills:

WO
Familiar with GMP and/or GLP
Experienced in one or more of the following techniques: traditional microbiological techniques, Endotoxicin testing, qPCR, cell based assays
Interpersonal skills
Good command of speaking and writing of Dutchand English, ability to communicate effectively with investigational site staff, team members and functional manager.
Positive attitude, enthusiastic and motivated.
