For our Life Science client in Basel, we are seeking a Scientific Associate
Start Date: 4th July 2016
End Date: 31st December 2016
Location: Basel
Language: English
Your Role:
- Ex vivo experiments using different immune cell types - eg CD4, CD8, NK cells - isolated from human peripheral blood/animal lymphoid tissues
- Proliferation assay, suppression assay, analysis of cytokine production
- In vitro co-culture assays with human tumour and immune cells
- Develop and execute cell-based assays to characterise biologics targeting immune system
- Characterise immune phenotype - imaging, FACS, gene profile - and cellular activation of different cell types
- Contribute to lab and team projects
- Independent planning and execution of experiments in timely manner
- Work documentation in lab journal, databases and reports
- Management and maintenance of functional lab, technical equipment and tools for best practise aligned with regulations
- Stakeholder management
We welcome applications of consultants' who match most of the above requirements and are available on a short notice. There is a competitive Hourly rate available for the contract; alternative market rates are also welcome.
