Job Title: Scientific Advisor

Location: Buckinghamshire

Duration: 6 month contract

The Role:

Delivery of Regulatory Objectives to the required external and internal standards to ensure that processes are followed in day to day activities of the client

Provide an effective and high quality medical information service to external and internal customers, in particular supporting marketing teams in a positive and pro-active way to ensure medical and marketing objectives are aligned

Provide clear, concise and appropriately tailored communications relevant to the audience and the subject matter to ensure a positive outcome

Work with immediate team members and other internal colleagues to encourage effective team working, promoting a culture of close collaboration and a proactive approach

Produce and deliver high quality presentations to our clients UK employees on scientific content and other areas of expertise through Academy sessions and other ad-hoc training platforms

Work in a constructive and pro-active manner as a key contributor to Brand Plans & Strategies, operating with a creative and solutions oriented approach to help achieve the right balance of commercial and compliance aspects in promotional activities

The Candidate:

Essential

A degree must be gained in one or more of the following disciplines: nursing, pharmacy or the pharmaceutical/life sciences.

Experience of working in medical information, scientific advisor, clinical research or similar roles Competent user of Microsoft Office software products

Must have proven experience of the ABPI Code of practice and involvement in the copy approval process

Ability to quickly and comprehensively learn about new therapy areas and environments.

Knowledge of the UK National Healthcare System and the pharmaceutical industry.

Desirable

Experience of working in the CV or thrombosis market

Working experience of pharmacovigilance regulations

Knowledge of clinical trial design and process.

Advanced presentation skills
