SCCM Implementation Engineer - CBD - Government Role

Scope of the role:

- Take over the role from the existing Engineer
- Completed Audit of outstanding pieces of work and familiarise yourself with the environment.
- Install and configure "like for like" SCCM Environment
- Image & driver capture for computer modules
- Software application build
- Create Deployment Task Sequences for various Images
- Create task Sequence based on existing custom Insearch scripts
- Install and configure endpoint protection
- Install and configure Windows update services
- Develop communications and documentation
- Install and configure App-V integration

Key Requirements:

- Microsoft SCCM 2012+ system configuration and maintenance knowledge including application packaging for SCCM.
- At least 5 years SOE development (including driver injection), deployment and management experience
- Experience in desktop management tools including group policy, logon scripts, powershell, sysprep, Scripting, user profiles, app-v, winpe, vpro, imaging, pxe
- Desktop and laptop hardware experience for Tier one hardware vendors eg Dell, HP, Lenovo, ACER
- Skilled desktop engineer with strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Technical resource that also is able to write processes and communications for internal staff:

Essential Requirements:

- Experience in working as a senior technical lead or project manager in a previous SCCM implementation or migration project.
- Prior experience with Microsoft SCCM client management implementation & Altiris.
- Understands network concepts including Firewalls, routing, VLANS, DHCP, DNS, broadcasts, multicasting
- Experience supporting desktops in an Active Directory Domain eg OU's, namespace, groups, GPO.
- Experience in training/mentoring other technical staff
