Projektbeschreibung

Scala Developer, Scala Consultant required by leading Digital Media client to work on a high volume systems which involved cutting edge technologies in the Scala/AKKA field for a long-term contract based partly in Amsterdam and partly in London. This role is initially 3 months but is very likely to be extended.

The successful Scala Developer, Scala Consultant will understand and embrace the philosophy of Continuous Delivery and believe in an agile, DevOps-centric team that builds, tests, releases and operates its own applications.

Key skills required

Scala
Functional Programming, must have Scala
Event-driven, messaging-based systems, MUST HAVE Akka (AKKA HTTP, AKKA STERAMS)
Messaging brokers and Microservices architecture
SQL and NoSQL stores
Test-driven development techniques (eg BDD and ATDD)
Automated testing and mocking techniques
Clean coding
Agile and Lean approaches
