SCALA DEVELOPER
My client needs to develop, test, and release software that scales, quickly and reliably.
They are a leading Energy company based in Antwerp are looking for a Senior Scala Developer to strengthen and complement their outstanding team of developers. Over the last few years, they have built a highly skilled team of software engineers that is making a real impact to their business
REQUIREMENTS:
- Design, build and scale parts of our micro service platform.
- Drive both product and technical improvements
- Communicate your ideas, engage with different teams and encourage debate and collaboration.
SKILLS:
- A track record of implementation in complex environments with high reliability and performance standards.
- Experience building scalable, distributed web applications in Scala (or Java with a Scala personal project, or other JVM based functional language)
- Comfortable with functional programming
- Experience with REST and asynchronous event driven programming.
- Experience with CI
- Experience driving automation across build, test and release processes.
Experience with Kafka, Spark or similar technologies would be an advantage but not essential.
