Scada/EMS Data Conversion Specialist

SUMMARY:
The candidate will be responsible for leading the data and display conversion efforts from three Legacy Scada/EMS systems (GE Gen4, GE Powerlink, Siemens Spectrum) to the new Scada/EMS system being implemented.
The candidate will also be providing database and system support for the current GE Gen4 EMS system.

SKILLS:

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

- 5+ years in the area of SCADA/EMS database and system support.
- Strong technical skill in one or more of the following areas: computer systems (Windows and Linux), relational databases (Oracle, SQL), power system database modelling and design.
- Developing and executing test plans and validation techniques.
- Proven written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skill and detail oriented.
- Ability to work as member of a cross functional team including vendor project team members.
- Knowledge of SCADA/EMS system and network communication architecture and practices.
- Work experience in the Electric utility industries.
- Developing and maintaining standards and procedures for the EMS database and displays.
- Experience with e-terraplatform database/displays and related tools.
- Experience with any one of the following SCADA Systems:

(A) GE/SNC-LAVALIN GEN4.
(B) Siemens Spectrum Power TG.
(C) GE Powerlink Advantage. - BS in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or related field is required.
- Candidates NEED TO HAVE at least 5 years experience.
