SC Cleared Project Lead - Farnborough, UK - ASAP - 110 days initially - Market Rate

Role Description

The Project Lead will be responsible for:
o All aspects of project management and delivery, including project extensions should the need arise;

o In addition to general management and leadership of the project, the Project Lead will provide the primary point of liaison with MOD stakeholders, covering:
Planning;
Enabling Services Provision and associated Training;
Management of outputs;
Governance and project steering, bot with MOD and internally within Niteworks.

Key Accountabilities and Deliverables

The Project Lead will be accountable for:
o All aspects of project management and delivery;

o In addition to general management and leadership of the project, the Project Lead will provide the primary point of liaison with MOD stakeholders, covering:
Planning;
Enabling Services Provision and associated Training;
Management of outputs;
Governance and project steering.

Outputs are subject to refinement but will include:
o Delivery of enabling services (CCD Platform and training)
o Delivery of Experimentation Plans and Reports;
o A Capping Report;
o An Evidence Log, building on an existing artefact developed in OSCCD 3.

Skills and Experience

Essential:
o Intimate knowledge and experience of MOD project approvals and acquisition approaches;
o Track record of successful project delivery;
o Detailed knowledge of the MOD's OSINT approach, including Single Intelligence Environment, Single
o SINT Battlespace and the emerging Open Source Programme;
o Familiarity with MOD's wider intelligence structures and processes;
o Familiarity with the key stakeholder organisations, including:
JFC Jt User/DA C4ISR;
IIS DT;
ISS.

Desirable:
o Knowledge of previous OSINT CCD Phases 1, 2
o Availability to continue in post 1 October 2015 to 31 March 2016 or any part thereof should the need arise;
o Experience of working with wider MOD projects and organisations;
o Experience of working with other UK Intelligence agencies;
o Experience of working with the wider UK Defence Industry;
o Experience of working with the wider Niteworks Intelligence programme and other programmes/projects.

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 10 weeks.
