Messaging Engineer - Galsgow - SC Cleared

Square One are looking for a Messaging Engineer to come on board for a 6 month rolling contract based in Glasgow, Scotland.

Experience & Knowledge

Demonstrates the use of consulting skills.

The following technical skills are mandatory and candidates should be able to demonstrate relevant experience and in depth knowledge of:

- Ability to conduct/lead oral status/technical meetings with customers.
- Owns and contributes to the technical design of customer solutions.
- Ability to translate technical details into concise and easy to understand written form.
- Ability to write relevant components of a proposal document (eg answer specific RFP/RFQ questions).
- Able to discuss Messaging and Interoperability requirements with the customer.
- Demonstrates specialist knowledge of Messaging Gateway software products, appliances and complementary technology providing message routing, content checking, anti spam, antivirus and associated services such as Nexor Mailer, Isode M-Switch, Blackberry, Boldon James.
- Demonstrates specialist knowledge of interoperability and directory synchronization.
- Has experience of Exchange migrations using native and third party tools.
- Demonstrates a specialist knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Exchange and related technologies - Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory. May hold multiple MCP or MCSE qualifications

It is essential that you hold current SC Clearance as transfers will need to be made in order for you to start work on client site immediately.

This is a 6 month rolling contract based in Glasgow, Scotland looking to start as soon as possible.

Not withstanding any guidelines given to years of experience sought, we will consider candidates from outside this range if they can demonstrate the necessary competencies.
