Our client is a tier one investment bank recruiting for a STOCK BORROW LENDING/SBL PROJECT MANAGER.

ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE CURRENT OR RECENT EXPERIENCE OF STOCK BORROW & LENDING/SBL OR PRIME  ALONG WITH THE FOLLOWING:

- Proven ability to deliver in Matrix management environment with/without direct resource ownership
- Proven ability to manage teams of varying size multiple skill set and multiple geographies.
- Experience in dealing with senior level business managers & infrastructure stakeholders and in building strong relationships at all levels
- Experience in working effectively across regions (London, New York, Hong Kong)
- Stock Loan knowledge essential
- Strong knowledge of investment banking functions, minimum 5+ years business analysis in equity finance business.
- Demonstrable evidence of analysing and documenting complex business processes and functional, non-functional requirements
- Excellent problem solving skills - Ability to research information and analyse data to arrive at valid conclusions, recommendations and courses of action
- Preference given to anyone with experience of Global One

Main Responsibilities

- Liaison with business management and users, Change Analysts, BA's, testers, programmers and Vendors in order to gather a full set of business and functional requirements
- Independently managing and being accountable for the entire programmes objectives vs plan.
- Ensuring strategic principles are adhered to - rationalising business process (globally) and alignment to the Equities target operating model
- Building a robust testing capability and maintaining functional ownership and ensuring on-going value add.
- Input into strategic direction of the application and associated processes.
- Ensuring transparent reporting and nurturing a trust based close working relationship with the business management.

Deliverables include, but not limited to:

- Planning the multiple work-streams ensuring there is sufficient resource available.
- Customer focussed ownership of the deliverables from initiation through to delivery
- Create an environment of living documentation' capturing existing processes and ensuring future change is thoroughly documented.
- Examine techniques, systems and processes in use and determine appropriate changes to effect improvements, reduce costs and enhance efficiency to meet business needs.
- Ensure clear communication of requirements via the creation of Functional Requirement Documents (FRD).
- Maintain close working relationship with the development teams.
- Assist in creation and of test plans where necessary.
- Assist the business regarding priority tracking
- Administration and control of change requests
- Implementation planning and support (pre and post new releases/patches)
- Actively participate in team development mentoring and coaching where relevant.
- Offer and evolve additional Third Line Support capability to the production support team.
