SENIOR SAS DEVELOPER
Senior SAS Developer is urgently required to join my market leading blue chip client for a potentially long-term and lucrative contract in the Netherlands (end user, NOT a consultancy)

The Senior SAS Developer will be responsible for the following duties:

- Analysis, design and development of information provisioning and complex reporting initiatives
- Gathering functional and technical requirements from the business
- Leading technical design
- Planning projects
- Prioritisation of development initiatives
- Monitoring and reporting on project progress
- Integration with other applications and business processes
- Partnering with the architecture team to ensure your solutions are accurate and relevant to the needs of the business
- Upholding current and new standards on Business Intelligence, Data Mining and Data Ware Housing development methodologies
- Maintaining data (master or core) models, program libraries, technical documentation of the individual (information, software, data (flow) models and/or applications.

The Senior SAS Developer will ideally conform to the following profile:

- Senior experience in development in a data warehousing or information provisioning environment.
- The ability to work on complex business requirements analysis, translation into design and development
- (bonus) A Bachelor or Academic Degree in Information Management, IT, Business Management and/or MBA;
- (bonus) An Internationally Recognized Certification in Business Intelligence (Certified Business Intelligence Professional or DAMABOK certified) as a plus;
- At least 5-10 years' experience with Business Intelligence or Datawarehousing products (like SAS, Informatica),
- Experience in data management
- Knowledge of databases, object modelling and querying skills is a must have;
- Good written and spoken communication skills in English, knowledge of the Dutch language is a plus.
