SAS Data Analyst- Banking

My client is in the market for a strong SAS data analyst to work on within a data management programme to deliver high quality, clear and accurate current state management information.

You will also be involved in the following;

- Input into quality business solutions, including analysis solutions.
- Lead meetings/workshops between the programme team and representatives from other business areas as appropriate
- Take responsibility for managing the relationship with stakeholders, where appropriate
- Identify and Investigate Data Quality issues to root cause

EXPERIENCE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Business analysis experience utilizing SAS/SQL for analytical investigations
- Experience in a business change environment (preferred)
- Good understanding of business analysis/project management methodology and it's practical application, preferably supported by a formal qualification
- Experience of root cause analysis
- Experience of SAS/SQL for report review and creation
- Experience in a financial services/banking environment

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:

- SAS/SQL for data analysis
- Deep understanding of data quality and data governance
- Good understanding of Customer and UK Credit Bureaux data.
- Excellent MS Office skills, ability to use Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Visio and MS Project to a high standard
- Experience in defining and documenting business requirements
