Role: SAS Customer Pricing Analyst

Location: London/Bristol/Halifax/Edinburgh - Any location considered

Rate: £350 - £450 per day

Initial 12 Months Contract

Our large financial services client is actively looking recruit 2 experienced SAS Pricing Analysts with strong Customer Segmentation experience to join their team within Customer Insights and Interaction.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a central team which generates the science behind pricing, using data, analysis and modelling to understand how profitability and volume changes when prices are altered. This team is also responsible for proving all insights into product changes and will be tasked with supporting senior management in doing so.

Primarily the role will be to develop propensity, decision tree and segmentation models of customer behaviour to help internal customer make better pricing decisions.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience of statistical modelling and must be able to understand how pricing works across savings or mortgages. Experience of explaining modelling in a clear way to internal customers is also essential for this position.

Desired Capabilities, knowledge and experience:
*Propensity, regression and decision tree modelling
*SQL - Data Warehouse experience is a big advantage
*SAS: Base, Stat and Macros, Enterprise Miner, Enterprise Guide
*Advanced Excel and VBA
*Understand how pricing works and the ability to explain this well
