An exciting opportunity has arisen for a number of SAS Coders to work on a 3-9 Month contract role based in London, Bishops gate with a major UK financial organisation.

You will be working on a project regarding building a new profitability model, specialising in the balance sheets and Debt.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

- Develop, deliver & document a highly robust set of key repeatable & automated processes to establish a validated set of profitability data at a granular level.
- Work with data providers to address data quality issues, enhance & evolve requirements, validation procedures & control data
- Collaborate with other areas of the Data & Analytics team, particular in respect of data & infrastructure & Front End development.
- Provide support to line management as requested.
- Comply with relevant Group Policies, testing and certifying the adequacy and effectiveness of their controls on a regular basis.
- Establish and document operating procedures which including relevant controls to meet Group and local policy requirements.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Extensive experience in Banking or Financial Services
- Demonstrable ability to relate data from a wide range of sources in a tightly controlled & efficient manner.
- Experience in creating & documenting new data processes.
- Good interpersonal, team and networking skills.
- Generic knowledge of bank processes, procedures and systems
- Advanced user of MS SQL Server/Management Studio/Business Intelligence Development Studio/SSAS/SSIS
- Highly proficient in SAS Base 9.2/9.3. Experience using SAS Data Integration Studio. SAS VA Also an advantage
- Preferred - Working knowledge/experience using Teradata, including Teradata SQL Analyser, Fast Load/Export. Working knowledge of Teradata Visual Analytics also an advantage
- Strong process documentation/familiarity with process modelling & technical specification documents
- Advanced user of MS Office Packages
