SAS Claims Analyst

A Contract Research Organization is looking for a SAS Programmer / Analyst to help manage a new and business critical project by handling the programming of claims data. Performing statistical regression models and risk models for data from IMS and PBM Databases. The company is a small, established and successful specialty shop for outcomes that values creating, self-starting professionals that can think outside the box at times. The environment is much like a think-tank and is very much team-oriented and collaborative. They are looking for someone who is a self-starter and able to work on big data with minimal oversight. The ability to work to a deadline is very important and experience with claims data is extremely useful. The contract is expected to last 1 year. Qualifiers: 3+ years experience with SAS Programming in Claims Data Experience with Regression and Risk Models Masters Degree in Statistics, Mathematics or Epidemiology (PhD Preferred)
