SAS Applications Analyst

An International consultancy are currently searching for a SAS Applications Analyst to work in Newcastle, to start in September for a 22 month contract.

The best fit SAS Applications Analyst requires experience/knowledge of the following:

- BAE Net Reveal
- Oracle
- PL/SQL
- Unix
- Linux
- WebLogic
- Tivoli (Scheduler)
- XML

Additional desirable skills include:

- Web Application Deployment
- JavaScript
- Experience of Clarity
- MS Office applications knowledge
- SAS code
- experience of supporting live production applications
- CVS Source Control Software

The task of this SAS Applications Analyst position include:

- Supporting the application aspects of multiple live services
- Management of live incidents, problems and known errors and investigate & resolve
- Develop fixes for problem tickets, testing the changes in the Proving Environment
- Collection of adhoc statistics
- housekeeping on Live Services and Databases
- Creation and maintenance of support documentation - LSMs etc
- Provision of Out of Hours on call cover on a rota basis

Due to the nature of the end client, you must have or be eligible to obtain SC security clearance.
