SAS Administrator Job

SAS ADMINISTRATOR needed for a 2 year CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's Energy client located in CHARLOTTE, NC

THE BIG PICTURE:

- The SAS Administrator's role is to manage Client's Enterprise SAS advance analytics platform. This includes user support, security, client installs, Application Server maintenance (hotfix/patch and version management, etc.)

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- User administrative tasks as defined below. SAS system maintenance (hotfix/patch and version management, etc.).
- User setup and support, security, backup/restore strategies.
- Participate in 24x7 support rotation.
- User and system problem triage support.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelors Degree or a combination of education plus equivalent work experience
- 2+ YEARS' EXPERIENCE AS A SAS ADMINISTRATOR
- Understanding of the SAS 9.X ARCHITECTURE (PREFERABLY SAS 9.4) IN A MULTI-TIER ENVIRONMENT
- Experience administering SAS 9.x Platform environments in a multi-tier environment
- Knowledge about SAS Servers (Metadata Server and Application Servers)
- Experience with Security and Authentication topics (related to the access of source data, the access of data within SAS on the SAS Servers across the different business organizations as well as SAS' integration with tools such as Active Directory/LDAP/Centrify/Kerboros )
- Hands-on experience using SAS Management Console (Experience with plug-ins such as:
- User Manager, Library Manager, Folders
- Experience with SAS Grid and process load balancing, resource management
- Experience troubleshooting SAS environments
- Experience with backup and restore strategies
- Experience with license file updates and maintenance, hotfix installation and configuration
- Experience with Linux OS
- Experience with version upgrades and migrations
