SAP WMS Functional Consultant

My leading client urgently requires an experienced an experienced SAP WMS Functional Consultant to join a functional management team within a renown Global Company. This a long term contract with generous rates of pay in Netherlands.

The selected SAP WMS Functional Consultant will be responsible for;

- Ensuring the connection of the applications managed business processes;
- To provide clarity about the operation of the business applications. Updating the user documentation. Helpdesk for users and support in the timely resolution of functional incidents. Giving explanations and training to users and key- users;
- Identifying and analysing a more efficient and effective use of business application. Improve Preparing proposals and coordinate with users and developers;
- Coordination with the user organization over proposed changes;
- Coordinating activities around changes to existing applications and implementing new or changed functionality, including user acceptance;
- Submission of process improvements and (business) processes;
- Participation in projects and thereby give meaning to (determine each project in consultation) one or more of the following activities;
- Creating a functional design;
- Testing of the project requirements on the user requirements;
- Specifying change requests;
- Design and implement functional acceptance test plan;
- Establish, coordinate and manage user acceptance test plan;
- Functional accepting to implement the application or parts thereof;
- Coordination of the implementation and follow-up care;
- Provide functional training/explanations on the applications;
- Preparation of documentation and user manuals;
- Establish requirements for information management with respect to the transfer of project management;
- You will work within the IT department, Business Support Team, functional management. The functional management team is responsible for supporting the financial and commercial procurement organization in the Netherlands in the field of business applications and the reconciliation to the business processes.

The ideal SAP WMS Functional Consultant will have the following experience;

- Completed Bachelor/Master's degree in business administration, logistics and/or IT direction;
- At least 5 years work experience;
- Experience in warehouse management systems from a user perspective is required;
- Experience with SAP (SD/MM) SAP consultant;
- Experience (EDI) interfacing;
- Experience with the preparation of test scripts and working with HP Quality Center is an advantage;
- Proven understanding of how enterprise applications are optimally deployed within business processes;
- A customer and result oriented personality;
- Independent and a solid partner.
