SAP Transition Project Manager - English Speaking. Amsterdam, Netherla

My client based in Amsterdam, Netherlands requires a hands-on Transition to Support Manager for a 6 month contract with the option to extend.

You will be working as part of the transitions team responsible for governing the transfer of the transactional processing activities.

DESCRIPTION:

- Support the receiving team transition strategy and plan
- Support the IT strategy for the Shared Service Centre and insure business support to the development of a long term strategy.
- Execute the Transition IT plan and maintain the annual plan and budget.
- Keep planning aligned to insure that dependencies are tracked and communicated on time.
- Ensure that end users have correct IT capabilities and authorizations to work with systems and business applications.
- Interact with the transition team and the responsible IT representatives.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

- 6-8 years of experience in SAP IT Project Delivery
- MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH TRANSACTIONAL [FINANCIAL] PROCESSES WITHIN SAP ORGANIZATIONS.
- Proven track record in IT, preferably in a cross border, Pan-European Financial Shared Service center or similar operation.
- Experience in international complex multidisciplinary project management. Balancing quality, budget, communication and timings over several project streams.
- Experience in IT Programs with impact on large groups of individuals within organizations in significant change situations.
- Strong Analytical skills to ensure the translation of new developments into business benefit cases.
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Proactive in identifying risks and issues in a high volume environment.
- Extensive travel may be required (up to 70%)
- Coaching/Team management
- SAP application functional experience and service management process knowledge
- Outsourcing transformation

- Must speak fluent English.
