SAP Trainer

Here at Thames Water we are looking for a contract SAP trainer to start with immediate effect. This role is based at our Head Office in Reading, where you will be responsible for producing and delivering SAP, Click, and GIS training courses and reference materials.   

This role is a key role ensuring Thames Water's employees are trained and skilled to confidently operate SAP, Click and GIS solutions and related work processes and support to the mobile user community as well as support the BIC End User Support Manager. Working in a fast moving and delivery focused environment, this role is to support changes to existing systems and introductions of upgrades to existing systems and new system rollouts.

As an IT organisation, it is imperative that we have the capability to support the business in providing quality training solutions within challenging timelines to support BAU and change projects within the IS portfolio.

- Work with the End User Support Manager and the Solution Design & Delivery function to identify requirements for SAP, Click, and GIS related business training.
- Develop and maintain a library of modular training courses and reference material in line with business needs.
- Complete handovers from specialist projects and systems to train in business as usual. 
- Understanding and support for third party applications if needed
- Design appropriate training sessions using a modular approach.
- Ability to adapt delivery style
- Use a range of delivery techniques eg classroom, CBT, 1-1, workbook
- To work with the management team to support their teams and gain understanding of current and future training requirements

We are looking for someone who has a passion to deliver exceptional training across a large scale organisation, as well as possessing the energy to help employees learn and develop in skill.

You will need to have excellent communication and influencing skills, as well having a demonstrable experience of previous coaching and training. Detailed knowledge and understanding of the Click Mobile solution is essential, as well as exceptionally detailed SAP experience.

You will be required to help train the following:

SAP SRM, SAP ERP, SAP CRM, Click Scheduling, Click mobile systems and GIS

Experience at using mobile technology in the field is preferable.
