SAP Test Manager - Brussels

Next Ventures is currently looking for a SAP Test Manager for a role based in Brussels, Belgium.

SCOPE:The Program Test Manager (PTM) is responsible for the Technical analysis, Design & Planning for all the Testing Activities.

Required Skills:

SAP EXPERTISE

SAP- SD, S4-HANA, MM, SAP-ABAP

10 years' of relevant experience

At least 2 to 3 Full-fledged ERP Implementations

SD (Sales Distributions):

-OTC Full Life Cycle Understanding(Sales Order, Invoice, Billing Invoice, Delivery Invoice, Transfer Invoice, Shipment, Payment -Incoming)
-Payment methods (SEPA, Electronic)

MM:

-P2P Process flow(Procurement to Payment process)
-Procurement details (Create, quotation, Miro, MIGO, payment- Manual/automatic .etc.,

S4/HANA:

-Good understanding of the architecture would help(Specific to S4)

ABAP:

-Tester needs to understand what error messages are coming out and how do he communicate this to ABAP dev team

Integration Experience:

-Good hands on experience how SAP integration happens with other systems (Eg: Mainframes, Power Center etc.,)

RESPONSABILITIES:

-Experience in defining overall testing strategy at a program level (which includes manual/Automation etc.,)
-Observes and identifies the dependencies w.r.t Testing, between the multiple projects (within & outside ) and adapt the Test strategy accordingly
-Identify the End 2 End processes/scenarios in the complete chain and make sure they are up and running in order ensure the Business Continuity
-Identifies the various types of risks (such as Functional, Technical, Operational, Environmental, resources related etc.,) from time to time and plan the necessary mitigation activities
-Envisages the process/areas, which can be the candidates for the Regression or Automation, which can have considerable saving in terms of Time & Effort, which in-turn result in Cost benefits
-Focuses, supports and aligns towards the Program's Goal & Objectives
-Provide estimations to Program Manager & evaluates estimations at project level and program level from time to time
-Present the status/health of the projects (in terms of Metrics derived from various projects) to the steering committee
-Coordinates with different Test Managers with in program and guide them towards common best practices to be followed
-Brings synergy between testing teams across various projects with in the program
-Ensures that the necessary resources are available and on-boarded onto the projects at the right time
-Ensures the smooth collaboration of Test team(s) with other teams (development, functional, infra etc.)
-Works with Team Managers to Identify the Core Team for Testing and ensure that they are equipped with the necessary knowledge (functional, technical, process related)
-Change management (estimating impact of changes to scope and planning and communicate about this)
-Experience in ensuring deliverables of the team are as per agreed quality, cost and timing
-Review of deliverables from the team and monitor progress during design & execution phases. Take pro-active measures in case of any slippage
-Implement execution of processes in the team and guard the processes are followed

Involvement in test activities of the project wherever its needed

TESTING EXPERIENCE

-Should have knowledge on SAP Interface Testing.
-Experience in Testing tools HP ALM, QC, QTP, SAP TAO, Web-service Testing using SOAP UI Pro tools.
-Strong communication skills, self-managed, quick learner.

Good to have Knowledge:

-(Web Performance Load Tester, SOAP UI, Selenium, HP LoadRunner etc)
- Should have an understanding about Mainframe testing and web-services testing processes & methodologies

Start date: 22nd Oct

Languages: English (Dutch but not mandatory)

Location: Brussels area

Duration: 6 months

Rate: Euros 480 per day
