SAP Test Lead

My client a large government department is looking for an SAP Test Lead to join their team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and overseeing an SAP BI Implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE INCLUDE:

- Responsible for the day to day performance test activities within the project, developing detailed test strategies, test plans, and test schedules, performance and load testing, implementing and execution of the planned test activities within the SAP project environment, this includes the planning, coordination and oversight of user acceptance testing
- Setting up the testing tool and environments.
- Setting up the testing strategy for the on-going support team.
- Preparing test result reports for management.
- Provide knowledge transfer to the business representatives is imperative.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

- Demonstrated experience Senior Test Analyst/Lead Test Analyst having worked in large scale Enterprise ERP environments
- Experienced with testing tools, manual and automotive testing including load & performance testing using HP Quality Centre
- A very good understanding of full-life cycle testing and methodologies including development, monitoring and execution of test scripts, test strategies and test activities
- High level consultative
- 5 years SAP Testing experience
- Minimum of 2 full life cycle implementations (bare minimum: no exceptions)
- Demonstrated experience as a Senior Project Manager and demonstrated understanding of SAP Business Intelligence and associated technologies
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in project managing a large-scale Information Technology Project and full project management life cycle implementations.
- Demonstrated significant experience in the build of an enterprise wide Datawarehouse in a complex, multidisciplinary organisation.
- SAP ERP 6 experience would be highly regarded
- Previous experiences in a demanding change environment with proven software testing methodologies
- Experience working in government environment with Prince2 methodology
