SAP Techno/Functional Analysts (Billing & Property)

Purpose

The major part of the role would be to undertake functional gap analysis ie compare business requirements with functional capability of commercial packages and provide recommendations on areas needing customisation (ie highly conversant with functionality/configuration of Tier 1 commercial packages & put forward technical options, technical feasibility). A key criteria is minimum 3 years full life cycle system implementation including configuring the application, testing & break/fix. The role would be required to undertake configuration of systems, ie hands on and also then skills & knowledge transfer to internal staff.

Responsibilities & Requirements

- Provide leadership in requirements gathering and analysis with a strong focus on mapping business functions to package features.
- Research and analyse business requirements to determine how to best meet these requirements.
- Configure and customise solutions set by the business within delivery time lines.
- Work with architects and technical teams to translate business requirements into technical design and functional requirement documents.
- Facilitate workshop sessions with stakeholders to gather business and process flow requirements, and translate results into useable project documentation.
- Strong understanding of best practices within SAP and/or Oracle Financials systems environment.
- Minimum 7 years ERP experience with at least three full life cycle implementations.
- It is preferred that applicants have experience in the delivery of large scale Utilities transformation programs.
- SUBSTANTIAL EXPERIENCE IN CONFIGURING COMPLEX TARIFFS AND UNDERSTANDING THE BUSINESS SCENARIOS/OUTCOMES.
- SAP IS-U exposure desirable.
- Project management skills desirable.
- Experience in asset intensive environments desirable.
