SAP Technical Integration Specialist. - Lausanne Switzerland

SAP Technical Integration Specialist required at a global fast moving consumer goods company based in Lausanne, Switzerland. This is a minimum 6 Month Contract to start ASAP. Salary is paid is Swiss Francs and is remunerated at the current market rate.

Main Purpose of Job
The purpose of this job is to provide SAP technical integration expertise and leadership to the company IT projects in order to help the organization make the best decisions regarding SAP landscape design, implementation and maintenance.

This role provides technical leadership to the business functions and acts as a bridge between technical specialists on IT and the business solutions teams, as well as between the company and Software vendors (eg SAP) to ensure sustainable value added solutions.

The SAP integration specialist might act as functional owner for topics such as SAP batch jobs management, workflow, time zones, SAP transports management, etc.

Work closely with the Technical Integration Lead and with Business functions team to support the strategy for SAP landscape design and maintenance
* Project Manage specific initiatives from an SAP Technical Integration perspective
* Analyse requests for systems updates/upgrades, provide technical insight and feasibility (including assessments from the ISIT services organization)
* Optimize and integrate landscape related requests, building on what has been proven and executed while concurrently exploring new tools and methodologies
* Effectively transfer technical integration tools and processes to regional and operations organizations
* Participate in and ensure a consistent best practice approach to SAP Landscape
* Functional ownership of SAP batch jobs management
