SAP Technical Architect - Demand & Supply Planning

For a major international client in Lausanne, we are looking for a:

SAP TECHNICAL ARCHITECT - DEMAND & SUPPLY PLANNING

To act as the liaison between function and technical stakeholders involved in our client's SAP developments in the Demand and Supply Planning area.

You will work with Solution Architects and functional owners to understand requirements and prepare the technical design. Once the technical design is completed, you will work with the developers and ensures developments are performed as per organisational standards and guidelines. You will also liaise with the Quality Assurance department to manage findings discovered during the code QA process.

THE MAIN PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE IS TO SUPPORT THE FUNCTIONAL DESIGN, PERFORM THE DETAILED TECHNICAL DESIGN AND SUPPORT SAP DEVELOPMENTS IN THE DEMAND AND SUPPLY PLANNING AREA.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate:

- Strong SAP Demand & Supply Planning architecture skills
- At least 5 years of experience as ABAP developer
- Good functional knowledge of the Demand & Supply Planning processes and their implementation in SAP
- Knowledge of SAP APO (ADVANCED PLANNER & OPTIMIZER) OR SNP (SUPPLIER NETWORK PLANNING)
- Knowledge of SAP CRM and SAP Retail would be an advantage
- Involvement in large scale SAP projects with developments performed offshore
- English as working language (spoken and written)
- SCRUM experience would be a plus 

THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION WITH AN INTERNATIONAL CLIENT UNTIL THE END OF 2013 IN THE FIRST INSTANCE, BUT WITH A GOOD CHANCE OF EXTENSION INTO 2014.  THE CLIENT IS LOCATED ON LAKE GENEVA, IN LAUSANNE. INFO-TECH WILL PROVIDE ADVICE AND SUPPORT THROUGH YOUR RELOCATION IF YOU ARE WORKING IN SWITZERLAND FOR THE FIRST TIME.
