SAP Tax Specialist - RTR - R3

Next Ventures is urgently seeking an experienced SAP Tax Specialist for our client in the retail/fashion industry in Switzerland.

Objective:

To support the R3 SAP project for ensuring the efficient and effective management of the compliance obligations in connection with

VAT and Intrastats in Europe and Switzerland.

Corporation Tax

VAT/Tax related statutory reporting

Main tasks: Participate in the Testing, Deployment and Hypercare phase of the R3 project Provide guidance and perspective on testing in relation to VAT/Corporate tax legislation and business requirements Support testing by the users during UAT

Creation of training materials, Cutover and Interim procedures where necessary Participate in transitioning the SAP knowledge to the run organization through training workshops and other activities Throughout deployment act as a key point for contact for process teams to help them navigate through the new functionality and issues that they may encounter

Manage incidents during deployment through to resolution, escalating where necessary Ensure completeness and quality across Change, BI, Conversion, training and process design within their respective streams

Liaise with OTC and PTP workstreams to ensure VAT configurations and logic is accurate

Knowledge and experience required:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Formal Accounting qualification or qualified by experience

KNOWLEDGE, TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Strong knowledge of business processes and requirements gathering

Ability to analyze processes and develop requirements based on input from various sources including analysis results and feedback from the user community

SAP experience in a VAT/Taxation and finance functions

Experience of ALM

Participated in an ERP roll out within the Finance/Tax workstream

Detailed experience of management/fiscal reporting with interaction to a senior level

Experience of Business Intelligence solutions would be beneficial.

SOX experience is preferred

Knowledge of commissionaire structure preferred

Italian rollout experience preferred
