SAP Support Manager - 6 Month Contract - Manchester

The SAP Business Planning & Consolidations (BPC with NetWeaver 7.5 or higher) Manager within the Finance Department will participate on a cross-functional basis with various Business and IT constituents to develop and support Business Planning and Consolidations and Management Reporting/Analysis capabilities as well as create system and process recommendations. The successful candidate will be engaged in end to end deployment lifecycle activities to enable end-to-end performance management cycle, including the following activities:
On-going support and enhancement for BPC Consolidations and BPC CAPEX solutions currently in place
Documentation of business requirements
Application design
Conducting gap analyses between business requirements and solutions
Lead requirements gathering and provide documentation for to-be processes, capabilities, application of key technologies, and performance measurements/KPIs
Assist in developing business case materials for recommended EPM planning, operating, and measurement tools

RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and participate in business planning and consolidation activities from conceptualization through to execution and deployment
Facilitate the transition from project mode to post go-live support mode
Provide post go-live support for delivered reporting and analytical projects
Cross-train and facilitate the empowerment of business users towards best practice self-service reporting models
Communicate priorities; timelines and deliverables to team members and business stakeholders
Drive development activities and timelines for project completion
Collaborate with managers within the organization for end-to-end solution planning
Liaise with internal customer groups and business leaders

Must Have Skills:

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Finance, Computer Science or related degree
Finance background in planning-budgeting-forecasting (CAPEX, OPEX, Revenues), and consolidations
Complete understanding of BPC NetWeaver 7.5 or higher functionality, design, architecture and integration with SAP BI and SAP ECC
3+ years of experience in BPC application design, development, administration, and maintenance
BPC implementation and deployment experience
Leadership and management skills
Entrepreneur spirit with strong planning and project execution skills
Demonstrated ability to proactively build and manage relationships
Ability to coach and lead technical teams in a collaborative approach
Strong communicator (oral, verbal, and written) with ability to persuade individuals and groups
Excellent technical skills with strong analytical and diagnostics background
Strong organization and time management skills
Ability to thrive in a challenging and high pressure environment
