SAP Supply Chain and Logistics SME Job

GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAIN IT PLATFORM SERVICES SERVICE OPERATIONS EXPERT - LOGISTICS - needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in St Louis, Missouri.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Minimum of three (3) years experience in documentation of business requirements and processes
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in SAP Logistics and Transportation modules
- Minimum of two (2) years JDA TMS/i2 experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Provide Level 3 support for bugs, defects, break/fix issues for users across application portfolio and for interfaces with other systems.
- Problem management analysis
- Drive efforts to proactively identify application or system issues improving availability and performance
- Ensure application Service Level Agreements are exceeded by maintaining ownership of incidents through resolution.
- Create Knowledge Base articles to drive self service capabilities and empower tier one resources to resolve issues without escalation
- Advocate for business stakeholder needs across technical teams ensuring issues are remediated quickly and customer's needs are met.
- Enhancements:
- Develop business requirement documentation for minor system enhancements.
- Participate in scope definition, timeline development, and testing meeting sessions
- Review requirements with business stakeholders/developers/testers to ensure consistent expectations.
- Partner with IT resources (Developers, DBA, Tech Lead, Tester, Release Coordinator) to complete minor enhancement deliverables.
- Complete configuration in SAP Logistics modules related to plant creation

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field is required.
- Application Support experience in resolving software issues.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in documentation of business requirements and processes
- Minimum of 2 years experience in SAP Logistics and Transportation modules
- Minimum of 2 years JDA TMS/i2 experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills from both business and technical perspectives
- Self starter, motivated and strong team player.
- Excellent teaming skills and strong work ethic is an absolute must
- Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills within an SAP environment

Bonus Points!

- Minimum of 4 years successful application experience using Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities
- Experience with test driven requirements
- Familiarity with Remedy IT Service Management tool
- Experience with Crystal Report development use and other reporting tools such as Business Objects
- Broad-based technology knowledge, with a curiosity that leads to continuous learning, and the ability to quickly grasp new ideas, concepts, and technologies
- Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) frameworks
