SAP SRM Senior Consultant - Chicago, IL

Position: SAP SRM Consultant/WebDynPro Developer
This role is for a Senior SAP SRM Developer within Modis' client's SAP Technology consulting practice. The resource will play a multifaceted role in the technical design, delivery, testing, and support of custom solution components in SRM, including direct on-site engagement with the client's SAP manager and IT team. The first assignment will be a long-term role in an SAP SRM Application Maintenance service.

Candidates should have the following qualifications:
* 5+ years' total experience in SAP solution delivery, support, or consulting
* 4+ years' experience in ABAP development
* 3+ years' experience in developing technical solutions for SAP SRM, including SRM 7.0
* 2+ years' experience development using WebDynpro
* Experience and expertise in most of the following areas within an SRM solution:
* Workflow/BRF
* BADI
* BAPI/IDOC
* Experience in Smartforms, Business Objects is a plus
* Technical and Functional knowledge in the following process areas: Purchasing, e-Catalog, Purchasing Master Data
*In detail: Shopping Carts, PO Creation/PO editing/Change Orders, Goods/Service Receipts and "PO and non-PO" Invoices Processing for Indirect Materials and Services.
*SRM Components: Purchasing with Classic and Extended Classic Scenario, SAP SRM-MDM Catalog (electronic catalog), Punch-Out catalogs
* Exposure to SAP SRM Sourcing and Contract Management.
* A strong communicator with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
* Boston area is strongly preferred, but Midwest is acceptable with availability to travel almost full time
