SAP Solution Manager Test Manager

Next Ventures are currently executing a search for an experienced SOLMAN test Manager for a project to be based in Denmark, Copenhagen.

Job Description:

a. Setup/Monitoring/Reporting of SAP Solution Manager.
b. Gather Test Scripts.
c. Ensure all functional areas are covered.
d. Enter Test Scripts In Solution Manager.
e. Assign Test Scripts To Test Engineers (Wipro/Outokumpu)
f. Monitor testing progress.
g. Daily report to management.
h. Good knowledge of Solution Manager.
i. Project Management Skills.
j. Need to drive clients resources to get the work done.
k. German speaking is a plus.

Skill and Experience Details:

Project Management(L3)

Significant Practical Experience in using Project Management concepts and techniques (EXPERT)

Practicing Project manager with sufficient experience Will be responsible for medium to large sized projects or projects of moderate to high criticality (defined by internal and customer context) and be able to handle projects with varying scope and conflict, largely independently with only pointed/limited guidance/supervision from line/practice manager.

Will be responsible for delivering the project using organization project management/execution tools to effort, cost, schedule and quality

Will be responsible for planning, tracking, reporting (internal and external) project performance (status and progress) on a periodic basis

Will be responsible to evolve risk mitigation and contingency plans and be able to manage internal and external conflicts

Will be responsible to engage multiple stake holders internally and externally and make effective use of escalation channels to solve issues

Will be responsible to respond to handle unusual situations and evolve suitable approaches and guide others

Will be able to mentor and guide the next level project managers

Test Project Management(L3)

Manages a group (often through lower level managers) that debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintainquality standards for company products.

Oversees the development and execution of software test plans.

Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures.

Ensures documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.

Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.

Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems through a team.

Responsible for complete end to end project management for the assigned project(s) which includes project planning,delivery, client interaction, troubleshooting and tracking utilization for the team.

Drives the application of principles, theories and concepts and determines the best course of action.

Resolves complex problems of departmentwide operations.

Establishes functional procedure and policy.

Extensive latitude to work independently and the outcomes have a broad effect on overall achievement of organisation wide objectives.

Has a major impact on a large department/function.

Ability to advise others and manage divergent interests and perspectives.

Ability to adapt to various communication styles andinterpret non-routine and conflicting information.

The role would make tactical decisions which will have an impact on the business unit.

Requires soundtechnical knowledge combined with reasonable understanding of business issues.

Has the ability to correlate technical issues with business environment.

Advanced project and people management skills are required.

Responsible for conducting appraisals, feedback & handling work allocations for direct reports & reviewing the same for indirect reports.

End to end people management responsibilities for the assigned group.

Interacts with internal and/or external clients and customers to plan, negotiate and interpret information on projects and unit operations.

Consults with senior management.

Responsible for managing the career growth, motivation & retention for the assigned group.
