Job Description:
An experienced SAP Solution Manager Consultant is required for an 3-6 month contract in Dublin paying a strong daily rate. Candidates with immediate availability will be given preference.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include but not limited to:
- Creation of and implementation of Projects' to include definition of best practices, templates, roles, authorizations, reports etc
- Create a Solution Manager blueprint with business scenarios that supports functional scenarios (sales, logistics, finance) and business scenarios for integrated processes ie (OTC) to support a multi-phased SAP upgrade projects ie (from R/3 4.7 to ECC 6.0) as an example
- Document best practices
- To Interface with HP Quality Center (QC)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 2 - 3 years of experience working with SAP Solution Manager (Version 7.1). Working knowledge of and experience implementing Template, Implementation, Upgrade and Maintenance project types.
- Ability to fully implement functionality required for the successful rollout of Solution Manager Processes and functionality as per standard SAP requirements.
- Knowledge of SAP support for Security audits and certifications
- Knowledge of Technical infrastructure, networking and system operations
- Knowledge of Hardware capacity planning and high availability solutions
- Knowledge of Project documentation
- The successful candidate is expected to be familiar with SAP ASAP project implementation methodology
- 2 Full life cycle implementation and upgrade projects experience is advantageous.
- Solution Manager Certified preferred
- CHaRM & Service Desk implementation experience is preferred
- Ability to implement Work Centers
- Ability to work independent with high initiatives
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of Windows XP and the Internet
- Knowledge in MS Office Professional Products
