SAP SOLUTION MANAGER
DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
The SAP Solution Manager Functional consultant will be working in an IT services area that provides operational support for all client business units utilizing this technology. He/she will be expected to get involved in a variety of interesting and varied projects, he/she will have the ability to support the configuration of SAP Solution Manager to meet a predefined conceptualized solution. Good product knowledge is essential around the various functional areas as well as strong background in understanding Application life cycle Management business processes.
DESIRED SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Experience of SAP Solution Manager 7.1 SP12 and the latest available enhancement tools.
- Deep understanding and experience in SAP Solution Manager functionalities, processes and workflows
- Support experience of ChaRM and ITSM processes
- Implementation experience in CTS+, Retrofit for ChaRM.
- Implementation experience in CSOL, BPCA, Template Management and Business Process Monitoring.
- Should be able to evaluate (technical cum functional perspective) various solutions in Solution Manager
- Should be able to identify the impact of new solutions on existing ones and propose actions accordingly
- Design, develop and execute the framework (for each SDLC phase) to implement the agreed solutions and bring in best practices
- Should take ownership of the solution offering
- Recheck/validate the existing processes and propose new, bringing in value adds
- Should be well versed with SAP technology, roadmaps, various modules in Solution manager especially, Service desk, CHARMS, Document Management and various other functionalities
- Act as single point of contact for solution implementation
- Should have experience in implementing solution manager modules and integration with third party for support/AMS operations
- Excellent team player with various cross functional teams
QUALIFICATIONS
- Overall 5 - 7 years SAP Solution Manager functional experience
- Minimum 3 life cycle implementation and SAP support experience in complex environment.
- SAP Solution Manager certified consultant, will be an added advantage
- Previous experience with Solution Manager Implementation, Rollouts and Support.
- Technical skills to write Functional Specification for Solution Manager Enhancements in Incident Management and ChaRM.
- Experience of working on Solution Manager 7.1 SP12 features
- Good understanding on Security Roles of Solution Manager.
- Good Knowledge of Solution Manager BW reporting capabilities.
- Technical writing skills to write the proper documentation according to internal regulations
- Experience of working with European clients
