SAP Security Analyst (7 Month OT/FTC)

Role Objective:
* The Security Analyst will be responsible for working within the Shared Support Organisation (SSO) within STW IS. They will undertake all tasks within SAP Security, including but not limited to role maintenance activities, adherence with segregation of duties requirements, and supporting the current organisation level design.

Key Accountabilities:
Application Support & Management. Investigation of Security incidents & problems to resolution ensuring root cause analysis undertaken where applicable. Delivery of changes requested by business via Service Requests. Liaise with business teams to meet business needs while providing a secure and auditable SAP environment. Ensures confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility of information residing in SAP system through SAP Security functionality. Responsible for administration of SAP Security including SOD resolution, role creation/maintenance based on business direction and Organizational levels creation/maintenance. Assists in Definition of and the Standardization of all SAP Security and Segregation of Duties related policies, procedures, work flows, and control sets based upon industry standard practices, experience, and business needs. Liaison between technical and functional teams relating to SAP Security, segregation of duties, roles, etc. Ensures compliance with IS Security Policies, Procedures, and Control Sets. Works with internal audit resources. Assists in the identification, evaluation, and implementation of SAP related security tools, techniques, and mechanisms to meet business needs. Provides production support to end-users as required. Participates in corporate and industry interest groups that focus on SAP Security. Responsible for coordinating continued deployment of ongoing projects. Works closely with business users to undertake user acceptance testing, as part of the incident/change request resolution process. Manage delivery of changes and coordinate with team members from other process areas. Liaise with team responsible for Change Requests delivery, to ensure there is adequate knowledge transfer during development and transition to production. Control of sensitive SAP transactions

Experience:
In order to succeed in this role it is expected that you will have:

Essential.
Good business knowledge of Utilities, the business operation and specific business area and processes to the SAP module/s supporting.. A minimum of 1 Full SAP Life Cycle designing and building roles, or working within a SAP Security Support environment. A broad understanding of Basis processes, particularly in relation to security of the application & its components. Good understanding of SAP Security and ideally knowledge of Security controls and Audit requirements

Qualifications:
* SAP Certification ideally required to support area of expertise or equivalent experience

Additional Information:
Salary: £26,900 - £45,000
