SAP Programme/Project Manager

SAP Project/Programme Manager - 12 month contract - greenfield implementation - south east - no travel

We are recruiting for an SAP Programme Manager/Project Manager for greenfield site based in the south East.

This organisation have recently decided to make the move to SAP, having recently gone through the selection process they are now looking for an experienced Programme Manager to support the business while supporting the current SI.

The role is split between SAP programme Management - stakeholder management, reporting to the board, supporting the blueprint and design phase and Project management with a more hands on approach in and around the delivery part of the programme. The implementation consists of 3 key phases starting with the blueprint and design phase Q42014, build Q12015 and then go live Q32015.

You will be required to support the business in not only managing the SI but also providing the knowledge and understanding of how an SI functions. You will be responsible for the end to end delivery plus have a key role in deciding what is best for the business.

Skills required: 8 years plus SAP Programme and Project Management with at least 2 end to end lifecycles
- Ideally experience of managing a greenfield implementation or significant knowledge in and around the full project lifecycle
- Good knowledge within the SAP Logistics, Supply Chain and inventory areas (MM, SD, PP, QM and WM)
- A Project Management qualification - Prince 2, PMP etc etc.
- Excellent stakeholder management experience coupled with a straight talking no nonsense approach
- Reporting directly to the FD and the Board of directors
- Ideally with a manufacturing, Engineering or Aerospace or defense background.
- Hands on flexible approach

We are ideally looking for the candidate to start within the next 2 possible 3 weeks.

Interviews will be happening this week and early next week.

Rate is paying market rates but ideally between £650 - £700 a day mark (other agencies are working this and paying less)
