SAP PP Consultant

SAP PP consultant 3 month contract opportunity to be based in Belgium (East of Gent) performing the following tasks

Profile SAP PP consultant:
This function is not to be seen as a roll out project member, but more to assist client Support organisation

SAP PP consultant main tasks:
Assist the PP helpdesk - solve daily "how to" question" --> about 10 %
Assist the PP helpdesk - check more specific issues (dumps, bugs, etc) --> 20 %
Investigate& review new customer requirements on existing programs or new programs --> 50 %
- Analyse request
- Possible solutions
- Possible alternatives
- Check versus template decisions
- Review impact on other users, other programs,
- Generate functional and technical documentation and review with ABAP team
- Perform technical testing + test on collateral damage
- Discuss with level 2 support for further detailed testing
- Arrange transfer to productive system
- Documentation + follow up

Assist PP team members on project issues --> 20 %
- Analysis of requirements
- Testing
- Documentation

Client makes use of:
- Discrete production orders
- REM
- Variant Configuration
- Material Variants
- Collective orders
- Combined orders
- Batch and non-batch managed materials
- IDOC's
- Z-programs
- User exists, BADI

Basic ABAP debugging skills required
Knowledge of APO/PP-DS is an advantage
Fluency in Dutch and English essential
