Job Title: SAP PMO Manager
Location: London

Delivery focused SAP PMO Manager. The PMO will support the Global PMO Lead and work with the workstream Project Managers / SAP Leads to ensure their plans are aligned to the programme plans and actively managed the cycles.

There are two major SAP programmes running concurrently and as such the SAP PMO Manager will be responsible for planning and controlling the workstreams through effective PMO activities: supporting the projects team with reporting, risk and issues management, change management, monitoring of project plans and compliance with project management methodologies / governance frameworks, financial management, and communications on projects

Assignment Remit:
Monitor KPIs and be responsible for analysis, interpretation and clear presentation of management information
Ensure all communications across the project teams are co-ordinated and that the right channels of communication are appropriately utilised
Ensure that projects have the right tools and standards in place, and that they are adhered to
Prioritise and manage own and teams workload and may support the leadership and direction setting of the PMO function
Oversee the tracking of total IS project expenditure i.e. supplier, manpower
Facilitate and embed the best planning practices within workstreams in order to ensure consistency in planning standards and practices
Ensure cross-project and external programme dependencies between are captured in plans at appropriate levels and managed effectively.
Ensure that key planning issues and risks are understood and escalated via the plan reporting process.
Challenge workstream plans and their alignment with programme level plans.
Wave plan reporting, associated issue / risk escalation and associated guidance on Change Request process and Programme Quality Plan updates
Management of cross-workstream and external dependencies and understanding of their impact on plans
Provide PMO assessment of the proposed change, challenge the need to raise change requests
Attend Wave meetings to provide context and highlight of the activities of the next wave
Facilitate discussions on actions to resolve issues causing plan delays
Provide visibility of cross-wave / Workstream dependencies that will have an impact on the delivery of current activities

Essential skills of the SAP PMO Manager:
SAP experience
MS Project (Mircosoft project)
PMO Manager/Lead experience
Knowledge of Project Management Methodologies
Proved experience working within project or change environments
Demonstrable portfolio/project governance expertise
Financial Management and Reporting; Business Strategic Planning
Excellent Stakeholder Management skills
