SAP Planner

SAP Planner - Aycliffe - 12 Month Initial Contract - £27,000 - £35,000 per annum

Our client, a Global manufacturing company is seeking a SAP Planner to be based in Newton Aycliffe on an initial 12 Month Contract.

Location - the role will be based in Newton Aycliffe but will require an element of travel within Europe and the UK.

Responsibilities and duties:

After full training on our existing Planning processes, the assignment duties will include:-

*Develop a detailed understanding of system scope, process, change impact, business roles and training curriculum for production and material planning
*Facilitating workshops and execute change actions
*Executing 'Role Mapping' for impacted users in the functional area
*Perform User Acceptance Testing and data validation activities
*Serving as the key planning contact to answer questions on the new process & system
*Providing ongoing support for training and business processes during hypercare phase
*Helping to ensure that the system is fit for purpose and supports our planning operations and Lean methodology.
*Communicating best practices and issue resolutions
*Identifying continuous improvement opportunities
*Promoting and efficiently driving change acceptance
*Provide production planning support and cover

Key Skills
Essential
Production and capacity planning experience
Experienced in using SAP production planning software
Exposure to Lean working and continuous improvement practice
Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills
Analytical, problem solver
Create enthusiasm for change through presentations, training, demo's etc.
Proven team player
Works well under pressure and with strict time-lines
Involvement in a SAP implementation project
