SAP MRP-ATP Consultant

Our client is searching for an MRP consultant. The On-site MRP consultant is in a key role to ensure the successful Implementation of the client global planning MRP-ATP concept at the production sites, as well as in the customer service organization, distribution center and terminal in the EMEA region.

The central role of the On-site MRP Consultant is
- to interact with the different production sites in EMEA,
- to adopt current situation, explain the planned MRP-ATP process to necessary parties, and find out how the process can be working at the different sites,
- to support master data collection and performing training locally at the site.

The On-site MRP Consultant role also includes
- uploading masterdata (building upload programs, if needed),
- processing, implementing, testing and documenting necessary (configuration) changes in cooperation with the relevant concept owner,
- taking care necessary authorizations and access rights are in place,
- preparing and performing user acceptance testing,
- to co-ordinate and participate the fixing of possible test issues,
- to prepare and be responsible for handover and technical go-live,
- to collect feedback and improve training materials, master data templates, role mapping tools, communication material, upload programs, configurations, etc. accordingly.

Location is Helsinki

Experience and Skills Required:
Must be able to create training material, give training and support master data collection in production planning area with MRP and ATP (especially in sales side/SD), and optionally in the area of distribution center/terminal replenishment planning. Is capable to independently conduct roll-outs of the agreed planning process on sites, in cooperation with other project resources.

Has MRP experience and understanding as a total system:
in addition to PP, understanding the MRP elements, MRP situation evaluation tools, master data and their effect also in SD/ATP, MM and FICO. Ability to understand defined MRP concept, and understand how and why it has been implemented to client production environment (bulk manufacturing, batch produced packed materials manufacturing, simple single product manufacturing).

Ability to run master data set up and collection process with key users:
creating templates, training key users, expediting data collection, building upload LSMWs and uploading the data. Understanding integration between APO and ERP (sales forecasts).

Change management capabilities:
ability to practically present and convince the site management of system benefits vs. effort, ability work with site production planners to resolve the practical planning cases, capability to train users. Fast learner and can do attitude on practical level. Experience in using, training SAP PP/SD/MM for industrial operations environment. Ability to plan and perform testing.

Language Skills:
English speaking is a MUST.
