SAP MDM and Data management Lead
Location: Barcelona or Belgrade
Duration: 9 months + extension
The role owner will effectively support the Data lead in the area of the global MDM and Data Management Processes.
Global MDM and Data Management Processes:
* Design: Driving from the core design, crafting MU specific fit proposition to be submitted to the Data lead for review.
* Integration: Supply support and coordination to technical and functional specification completion (developers, global MDM team and local implementation teams).
* Analysis, Profiling, Mapping: Understanding the source data model structure in terms of completeness, quality and mapping in line with global data standards. Identifying areas of needed improvement and driving actions for update through the local implementation team(s).
* Cleansing, Collection, Update: Driving the executing of actions defined in the profiling through the local implementation team(s)
* PDD: Govern the process design as per the core design. Propose localization where needed keeping the core design safe. Submit to the Data lead for review.
* Definition: Data definitions need to be Embedded in both systems and in processes
* Testing: Supply core design scenario's and core test Scripting. Driving full Vendor Maintenance testing end to end across systems (ERP, MDM, Ariba) and where needed coordinate test Scripting localization.
* Defect resolution: Coordinate data adjustments through local cleansing/update and or process adjustments through CRF processes
We anticipate a resource with a Procurement/Vendor Master background. Preferred candidate has prior exposure to MDM, DMO and has gained experience in the area of data profiling/migration through pressured projects.
Travel expectancy of 25-40%, English verbal and writing needs to be up to effective interactions with international business community. We expect to hire a dedicated resource for a 1½ year assignment.
Key Skills/Experience Required - specific education/certification, specific functional experience, language etc NEEDED for the job.
* Bachelor degree or equivalent, BA or BS in Business or Computer Science/Information Management or equivalent direct experience.
* 5+ year's experience in IT, preferably Enterprise MDM solutions.
* Solid SAP, Teradata and or Oracle experience is highly preferred.
* Understanding of SAP Vendor Master data structure, Oracle Suppliers data is advantage.
* SAP LSMW, mass updates program and tools
* Understanding of Master Data Management processes and tools within a large enterprise.
* Data Base SQL querying to run data profiling, analysis and quality reports.
* HP Quality Center/ALM to support test Scripting, execution and testing
* Broad experience within Functional processes and Data understanding.
* Problem Solving & Analysis skills, including technical, political, cultural and implementation. Sound technical and analytical skills to drive analysis, monitor performance and to resolve issues.
* Strong communication Skills and effective team interaction facilitator
* Ability to interact professionally with a diverse (virtual & cross cultural) group, managers and subject matter experts
* Delivering results and meeting customer expectations, quality oriented
* Knowledge of information and data architectures and governance preferred.
* Data analytics and interpretation.
* Experience running enterprise wide data quality programs, including understanding of standards, methods, processes, tools and controls
* Influencer of business and IT resources
* Good English verbally and written is critical
